Ricardo Sandoval is a dedicated professional with over 20 years of experience in the IT industry and more than a decade of running a successful DJ music service company. A lifelong resident of Pilsen, Ricardo has built a career that blends technology, music, and community engagement.
Currently working at the Chicago Public Schools Central Office, Ricardo contributes to citywide initiatives that support students and educators. His extensive IT background has allowed him to develop innovative solutions that enhance educational systems and operational efficiency. In addition to his technology career, Ricardo is the founder and operator of a DJ music service company, bringing energy and entertainment to events while celebrating Chicago’s rich musical heritage.
Beyond his professional work, Ricardo has dedicated himself to community service. He previously worked for the Chicago Park District in Pilsen, fostering youth development through sports and recreational programming. He has also coached softball, baseball, and basketball teams throughout the neighborhood, including the Diamonds, one of the founding teams of the Women’s Softball League at Harrison Park.
Ricardo has played a key role in strengthening community institutions, serving as the founding chairperson of the St. Procopius Parent’s Committee and a member of the St. Procopius Church Finance Board. He was also president of the Dvorak Park Advisory Council, where he worked to improve local recreational spaces. He continues to volunteer at St. Procopius Church, organizing the House Night at the annual St. Procopius Kermes.
With a lifelong commitment to service, technology, and music, Ricardo brings a unique blend of expertise and passion to every endeavor. In his spare time, he enjoys spending quality time with his daughter, a student at Whitney Young High School, while staying engaged in the Pilsen community.
